The Tevya Alumni Group would like to welcome you to the first ever Tevya Trot! Quite simply, the motivation behind The Tevya Trot is to bring people from inside and outside the Tevya community together for a fun competition to benefit camp. However, as Barnet Cohen, Tevya alum (1981-1988) and parent of a current camper, will tell you, the event quickly became about so much more than that.
"The Tevya Trot came about as an opportunity to bring together two passions of mine - Camp Tevya and the sport of running. Last summer, while speaking to Jonathan Meltzer, the idea of a race was discussed. It was the perfect opportunity to combine those two passions and make a difference for the Tevya community. To make it all more meaningful, I wanted to honor someone for our cause and Seth Feldman immediately came to mind. My memories of Seth include his strong interest in fitness, his passion for working out and his determination to compete. I know how much it would mean to Seth to see his name remembered at Camp Tevya and now that will be a reality, thanks to all of you in the Tevya family and beyond." --Barnet Cohen (BTC 1984)
